Stanstead College will be hosting the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools Senior Boys Invitational Soccer Tournament from October 14 to 16, inclusive. Twenty teams from British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada will converge on this campus for three full days of soccer on five fields.
“Hosting the CAIS tournament is truly an honour,” said Headmaster Michael Wolfe. “Two years ago, the National Girls Tournament took place on these very fields, and it proved to be a very competitive, exciting tournament – certainly one of the highlights of our school year. I’m sure the boys’ event will be just as outstanding and likewise provide great competition.”
Participating schools include:
Albert College Ridley College
Appleby College Rothesay Netherwood School
Ashbury College Royal St. George’s College
Bishop’s College School Selwyn House
Country Day School St. Andrew’s College
Crescent School St. George’s School

Holy Trinity School Stanstead College
Lower Canada College Trinity College School
Pickering College Upper Canada College
Among the participants at this year’s CAIS tournament are two local teams, Stanstead College and Bishop’s College School. The Stanstead College Spartans are expected to be a strong presence in this tournament. Currently the team is in first place in the local ETIAC high school league with a record of 6-0.
