BRIT FLOYD returns to the Granada

Pulse 2013 de Brit Floyd photo 1SHERBROOKE: The well-known British group BRIT FLOYD returns to the Granada Theatre, on Monday, March 25, 2013 (8p.m.), after performing at the Grand Theatre, in Quebec (March 23) and in Montreal at Place des arts (March 24), as part of their latest North American tour P-U-L-S-E 2013. This will be their third performance in Sherbrooke, since autumn 2011. It was during their first trip to Sherbrooke that I attained an exclusive interview with Damian Darlington; the article and/or excerpts of that interview have been published at

Since that time, the group has enjoyed a quick rise towards international recognition, during their European and North-American tours… an exceptional journey beginning with their first concert in Liverpool, England (January 2011) to a crowd of more than 500,000 people. According to the pulse 2013 de brit floyd photo 3review describing P-U-L-S-E 2013, on their official site, this tour is “an amazing three-hour production which includes Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and The Division Bell”, and in celebration of the 40th anniversary, Pink Floyd’s defining album, “The Dark Side of the Moon”.

Inspired by the record-breaking “Division Bell Tour (1994)” and including trademark symbols of Pink Floyd, like the arch and circle of light-&-laser show, and brand new Floydian animation and projection, P-U-L-S-E 2013 will be Brit Floyd’s biggest show ever. With performances that are musical perfection and visually awesome, their success reflects the dedication and talent of the musicians in this group, under the musical direction of Damian Darlington, also guitarist and singer.

Pulse 2013 de Brit Floyd photo 2For BRIT FLOYD, “this new performance recreates the legendary and enigmatic universe of Pink Floyd, recalling the psychedelic pop-band of the Sixties, throughout the stadium-filled Eighties and up until the much-anticipated reunion during the LIVE 8 concert”.
