_________At Parc écoforestier of Johnville, located in the Town of Cookshire-Eaton (Johnville sector) you are invited to enjoy the ultimate scenic nature walk, only 15 kilometers from the downtown area of Sherbrooke (10 km from the District of Lennoxville). The peat bog and its ponds will fill you with wonder. Considered rare jewels in the Cantons de l’Est region, these ecosystems lend to the site a remarkable diversity of habitats and a richness of fauna and flora that you can observe throughout the 5.8 kilometers of pedestrian paths which wind throughout the Park.

Whether it is to learn more about the ecology aspect involved in the peat bogs or the last glacial era, or quite simply to benefit from a pleasant moment of relaxation, the Park offers you a circuit of four pedestrian paths (the Pond, the Peat bog, Esker and Fauna) and four ski and snowshoe paths during winter months (8,5 km). The Park is open from 8 a.m. until sundown. Entry is free (except for special activities and group visits)!
