Parc écoforestier de Johnville
SHERBROOKE: On Saturday June 15, 2013, Nature Cantons-de-l’Est and the musée de la nature et des sciences have joined forces to organize a day in the forest, during which Jean-Marc Lalonde, a specialist in the identification of plants, will help you discover particularly interesting plants in the varied mediums of the Parc écoforestier de Johnville (peat bogs, carnivores, rare plants, etc). This activity will take place between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.. The cost is $15/adult, $10/child or $35 per family. Places are limited! AN EVENING of ASTRONOMY
Cantons-de-l’Est and the Amateur Astronomers Club of Sherbrooke (CAAS) invite the public to join them in observing the night sky above the Parc écoforestier de Johnville, on Saturday, June 15, 2013, starting at 7:30p.m., in the parking of the Park, located on chemin North, 1 km north of Johnville. Young and not-so-young will be able to discover and observe various heavenly objects (stars, clusters, galaxies, nebulas, planets, etc) with the help of telescopes and binoculars. The cost is $4.00/adult, $2.00/child or $10.00 per family; profits will be used toward maintenance costs at the Parc écoforestier de Johnville. Be sure to dress warmly!
