LENNOXVILLE: The Foreman Art Gallery, at Bishop's University, will be presenting an exposition 'Filing Memories' by artist Christina Battle from September 15 to December 11, 2010. Composed of the multiple screen video installation 'Wandering through Secret Storms' as well as new works, this solo exhibition project addresses the relationship between archives, public memory and practices of surveillance. LAKE MEGANTIC: August 13 was the official launch of the Ambassadors Club of the Megantic Region Sweepstakes and a chance to discover “your online stars”, before a group of more than 300 people, both ambassadors and guests. This initiative by the Chamber of Commerce of Lake Megantic provided local businesses with an incentive to promote tourism in the region. The launch was also an opportunity to offer a VIP day to all the participants.

COATICOOK:The Beaulne Museum, of Coaticook, is currently presenting an exhibit “Of Stone and Space” by complementary artists Brigitte Savoie and J. Michel Poulin. This exhibit will be on display until October 24, 2010. Using acrylic paints and mixed techniques, Brigette Savoie and J. Michel Poulin are two artists who have chosen to explore two extremes of the same material -- stone.
